This past weekend, Bittersweet Designs was invited to host a pop-up show at the Four Seasons Resort at Rancho Encantado. We laid out scores of our favorite jewelry: shimmering strands of pearls looped around our vases, while rows of drop earrings swayed happily along golden rims.
We especially liked the juxtaposition of our jewelry arranged on a bull’s horn. The solidity of the pale grey bone complemented the polished sparkle of our pieces nicely, encouraging reflection on the natural forms of inspiration -- the dusky purple of the distant mountains, or the lustrous glimmering of the sun’s rays -- that inform many of our jewelry creations.
We had a ton of fun setting up and exploring the property -- check out the expansive view of the desert landscape from the Four Season’s lovely restaurant, as well as two of our lovely team members...
Our team had so much fun hanging out at the Resort and talking to the resort guests, including a wedding party that had just arrived from Dallas. The groom-to-be briefly forgot the name of his first dance song -- maybe one of our pearl & gold necklaces would help make it up to his new wife? Or a new bracelet?
